Travellers flying between Dubai and the United Kingdom now have even more flexibility, as Emirates has officially launched a fourth daily flight connecting Dubai International Airport and London Gatwick.
The new service began operating on Sunday February 8, 2026, and marks another major expansion for the Dubai-based airline as demand for UK travel continues to grow among tourists, business travellers, and expats.
The additional route is being operated using Emirates’ latest Airbus A350 aircraft, giving passengers a more modern flying experience while increasing seat availability between two of the world’s busiest international travel hubs.
With the launch of the new route, Emirates now operates 12 daily flights between Dubai and London airports, strengthening connectivity between the UAE and the UK.
New Flight Schedule Between Dubai and London Gatwick
The newly introduced Emirates flight EK069 departs from Dubai International Airport at 5.05pm GST and arrives at London Gatwick at 8.50pm local time.

The return service departs London Gatwick at 11.55pm local time and lands back in Dubai at 11am GST the following day.
This new addition becomes Emirates’ final daily departure between Dubai and London in both directions, giving travellers more choice when planning their journeys.
The evening departure from Dubai is especially convenient for passengers who want to make the most of their day before heading to the airport. Business travellers can finish meetings, tourists can squeeze in some last-minute shopping, and residents can enjoy more flexibility before taking off.
For visitors arriving in Dubai, the flight timing also works well, allowing passengers to land in the morning and head straight to their hotels or begin exploring the city’s attractions.
Emirates Expands Airbus A350 Network
London Gatwick is now the second UK destination to be served by Emirates’ new Airbus A350 aircraft after Edinburgh.
The airline has been gradually introducing the next-generation aircraft across several international destinations as part of its fleet expansion strategy.
In addition to London Gatwick and Edinburgh, the Emirates A350 currently serves cities including Lyon, Bologna, Dammam, Mumbai, Bahrain, Colombo, Kuwait, Muscat, Tunis, Amman, Istanbul, and Ahmedabad.
The Airbus A350 is designed to offer improved passenger comfort, quieter cabins, better fuel efficiency, and upgraded onboard technology.
Passengers flying on the new Gatwick service will have access to three cabin classes with enhanced seating and interiors.

Premium Economy passengers can choose from 28 spacious seats designed for additional comfort during long-haul journeys.
Meanwhile, Economy Class includes 238 seats with upgraded cabin features and improved in-flight entertainment systems.
The addition of Premium Economy continues Emirates’ wider rollout of the cabin class across more international routes, offering travellers a middle-ground option between Economy and Business Class.
Emirates Strengthens UK Operations
With the addition of the fourth daily Gatwick service, Emirates has now increased its UK schedule to 140 weekly flights across eight destinations.

The airline currently operates services to:
- London Heathrow
- London Gatwick
- London Stansted
- Manchester
- Birmingham
- Newcastle
- Glasgow
- Edinburgh
The UK remains one of Emirates’ most important international markets due to strong tourism, business, and expat travel demand.
Dubai continues to be a major global transit hub for passengers travelling between Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, and the expanded UK schedule further strengthens Emirates’ international network.
Growing Demand for Dubai and UK Travel
The launch of the new daily Gatwick flight comes as Dubai experiences continued growth in tourism and international business travel.
The city remains a popular destination for UK tourists thanks to its beaches, luxury hotels, shopping malls, entertainment attractions, and year-round sunshine.
At the same time, the UAE is home to a large British expat community, creating strong demand for regular and convenient flight connections between the two countries.
The expanded Emirates schedule will provide more options for travellers heading to London for business, holidays, education, or visiting family and friends.
With upgraded aircraft, increased flight frequencies, and improved passenger comfort, Emirates is continuing to strengthen its position as one of the world’s leading international airlines.
